Meet the photographer
Hi, I am Jessica, a New England & Charleston-based fine art wedding photographer serving clients all over the globe. A lover of New England summers, jasmine tea, and library books, I strive to find joy in each of life’s little moments. I believe that there is always a silver lining, and one can never have too many croissants.
After growing up on the north shore of Massachusetts, I eventually made my way down along the coast to historic Charleston with a few stops along the way. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call both Massachusetts and South Carolina home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me snuggled up with my sweet cat, Louie,
or exploring new cities.

Jessica is absolutely amazing, I don’t even know where to start. Having her as photographer was by far the best wedding decision we made.
I spent hours (probably days if you add it up) and sent a million emails looking for the perfect photographer. To any couples looking for a photographer please do not look any farther, you will not find anyone better!!
First of all, she has the most calming energy. Just having her around made my mom and I feel so relaxed. Not only that but she is so easy going and is completely flexible on whatever we wanted to do and when our plans/timeline changed multiple times throughout wedding day. Everyone said one of her greatest assets was her calming personality in all the craziness and stress especially with a large wedding party.
She also knows how to pull everyone together. We had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen, and somehow she had all the guys and girls perfectly organized and in-line for pictures. Even with all the chaos she pays attention to little details, making sure bow ties, hair, bouquets, boutonnières, and tux jacket buttons are perfect.
Also, we had destination wedding which obviously made planning trickier and I was very nervous about hiring a photographer that wasn't in/from/familiar with the area. If you are in the same position, I just want to say again that Jessica went above and beyond. She flew in early and totally familiarized herself with the area. She found perfect spots for photos. Also, look her up on Instagram because she has done so many destination weddings so she knows what she's doing.
Finally, Jessica is SO much more than just an incredible photographer, she was literally my personal assistant that day. She was there to help hold my dress, walk in my heels, and comfort me throughout the day. She was more than I could’ve ever expected or asked for.
My husband and I are now looking for events/occasions just so we can have her back! I fully recommend her and it was a pleasure to have her photograph the best day of my life.

Frequently Asked Questions
DO I NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
I have shot many of my weddings solo and feel super comfortable doing so. Second Shooters are offered as an add-on to any of my collections, but I don’t think they are necessary for everyone! If you’re having a larger wedding (150+ guests) and/or there are multiple locations in your day (getting married at venue A, but your reception is at venue B) then I’d suggest adding on a second photographer. We can talk specifics about what might be better for your wedding!
DO YOU HELP US WITH OUR TIMELINE?
We can talk about your timeline at any point during your wedding planning, and I love helping you put these together! I’ll make sure the photo logistics fit well with the timing of your day.
WHAT IS A BRIDAL SESSION?
The bridal portrait session is a fairly old and specifically Southern tradition that began in Europe. The session is centered around the bride (sans groom) in her wedding dress that takes place prior to the wedding day either at a location of the bride’s choice or at the venue. We’ll have an opportunity to take photos of you by yourself in your dress on your wedding day, but it won’t be in such a leisurely and extended fashion. A bridal session can really free up some time on your busy wedding day schedule, plus it's the perfect excuse to get all dressed up in your gorgeous gown one more time!
HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
I know you are excited to see them and I am just as excited to get them to you! I will send you sneak peeks the week after your day while I work on the full gallery. I deliver your images in 6-8 weeks after your wedding.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Oh yes, some venues require that I provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance), if so just let me know and I can get that to them asap.
DO YOU BACKUP OUR IMAGES AFTER OUR WEDDING DAY?
Yes, I do not mess around with this. As soon as I get home from your shoot, I back up to two separate external hard drives and a storage cloud.
